Spital Bülach (Hospital Bülach – Replacement New Build)

The brick building integrates subtly and with a homely character into the existing complex. It represents high-performance architecture combined with a "city quarter" concept, making the different functions legible as distinct volumes on a human scale. The new main entrance, with its entrance hall and reception, forms the transparent hinge connecting all hospital departments, ensuring short paths and clear orientation. The project addresses the hospital's need to renew core medical functions (operating theater, emergency department, radiology, intensive care) and add additional bed wards.
